You can find the sessions you booked in your original confirmation email. Sessions are filled on a first-come basis, and the team will be in touch soon to let you know which sessions your child got on to.
Team ‘Busy Week’ are delighted to be able to offer another great line up of activities for your children over the first two weeks of the 2024 summer holidays
Busy Week 2024
The first week is a week of swimming providing concentrated, consistent practice that helps children quickly build their essential swimming skills and confidence in the water.
The second week is a very ‘Busy Week’, including a packed line up of art, crafts, sports, drama, and lots, lots more.
SWIMMING WEEK (3 YEARS +) – MON 22nd July – FRI 26th July
BUSY WEEK (PRE-SCHOOL TO YEAR 6) – MON 29th JULY – FRI 2nd August
Who can attend?
Much Hadham Busy Week is open to all children attending St Andrew’s School, Much Hadham Pre-School or Faraway Tree Kindergarten and those living within the parishes of Much Hadham, Green Tye and Perry Green.
Busy Week is organised and run by a team of volunteers with the aim of offering local children a wide range of sports and activities to try out and enjoy. We do however need the support of parents and carers to make it work.
Do I need to stay with my child?
A responsible adult should accompany EVERY child to swimming activities, Pre-School, Nursery and Reception children should have an adult with them at EVERY ‘Busy Week’ session, and we also ask that an adult stays and participates in any activities where you feel your older children may need extra help. If your child has special or additional needs please do ensure that a parent or carer is present at EVERY session your child attends.
All Busy Week Volunteers are DBS checked, but we do need some extra help at most sessions. To ensure Busy Week runs smoothly we need each parent to volunteer to help at least ONCE over Busy Week. Without parent helpers, some of the sessions may have to be cancelled.
How do I register?
You can register your child(ren) using the online Registration Form.
You will be notified by email if your child does not get a place on any of their chosen activities by July 15th.
All bookings are non-refundable; please confirm activities with your child before booking.
As always, please remember to check for timetable clashes if you have more than one child!

Swim week is a week of 30 min lessons, Monday to Friday mornings. The location and time of the lessons will be confirmed week commencing 22nd July, please don’t email asking for times before then as it is only decided that week, by the teachers once they can see the list of everyone attending swim week.
